ICT Skills Link Program


The Program

The First Nations Education Council is seeking community registrations to the AANDC Skills Link-ICT Youth Employment Initiative. The program is designed to give youth between the ages of 18 to 30 the opportunity to obtain relevant work experience and training in the field of Information, Communications, and Technologies (ICT).

To apply to this program, communities must submit for each Youth, the “FNEC Skills Link-ICT” application form. Deadline to apply is Friday June 16, 2017. Please contact Jane Hicks or Tim Whiteduck at 418-842-7672 should you have any questions on this program.

  • Deadline submit Youth Application Form; June 16, 2017
  • Confirmation and application status; July 7, 2017
  • ICT Workshop; 6th to 12th 2017
  • Mid-Term Salary Invoice Refund Request; October 13, 2017
  • Final Salary Claim, Youth Evaluation Report and Program Report; March 1, 2018.
