Our vision of education is one of lifelong learning and skill development, regardless of age, from early childhood through post-secondary studies and vocational and technical training to adult education. For over ten years the FNEC has offered training programs on a wide variety of subjects that reflect our realities and give learners from the elementary to graduate level the opportunity to obtain a diploma. The courses, whether they are ongoing or ad hoc, given in class, online, or through intensive sessions, meet the needs of First Nations at the professional development level. In 2010, the FNEC established Kiuna Institution; a post-secondary school for the First Nations of Quebec that offers a learning environment where their culture and traditions are promoted.
