The Workshops:

Smarter Science is a framework for K-12 science teaching and learning, and for developing the skills of inquiry, creativity, and innovation in any curriculum unit. The Smarter Science workshop prepares teachers to successfully implement scientific inquiry in their classroom. With concrete examples and demonstrations, the instructor will help teachers learn about the 35 inquiry process skills and how to use the Steps to Inquiry strategy to help students plan and implement their own scientific investigations.

In the afternoon workshop, Innovation and creativity through Scientific Inquiry you will learn to apply the Smarter Science framework and strategies to guide your students with their science projects. You will be able to discuss of scientific projects that can be created with your students.
